Who we are

Little Owl, Suffolk is a holiday cottage at The Pound, Hawstead, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, IP29 5NJ. Our website address is littleowlsuffolk.com. You can contact us about anything in this policy at stay@littleowlsuffolk.com.

What we collect and why

Enquiries. When you send a message through our contact form, we receive the name, email address, phone number (if you provide one) and message you enter. This is delivered to us as an email and used only to reply to your enquiry. It is not added to any mailing list or shared with anyone else.

Bookings. Availability and bookings on this site are handled by Smoobu (Smoobu GmbH), our booking system, through an embedded booking form. Any details you enter there — such as your name, contact details, stay dates and payment information — are processed by Smoobu in order to make and manage your reservation. Cookies

This website does not set cookies of its own and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. The embedded Smoobu booking form and the Google Fonts used on the site are loaded from third-party servers, which may set their own cookies or receive standard technical information (such as your IP address) when the page loads.

How long we keep your data

We keep enquiry emails and booking correspondence for as long as we need them to manage your stay and for our accounting and legal obligations, after which they are deleted.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (except where we are required to keep it for administrative, legal or security purposes). Email stay@littleowlsuffolk.com and we'll be happy to help. If you're not satisfied with how we handle your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
